60 Years of Faith & Service

Since 1965, Alabama Avenue Baptist Church has been a beacon of hope and faith in the Johnson Homes community of Dothan, Alabama. As a proud member of the National Baptist Convention-USA, we are committed to faithful worship, biblical teaching, and serving our community with the love of Christ.

Senior Pastor

Pastor Ernest Green leads Alabama Avenue Baptist Church with a heart for God and His people. Under his spiritual leadership, our church continues to be a beacon of hope and faith in the Johnson Homes community.

Pastor Green is committed to biblical preaching, pastoral care, and serving the needs of our congregation and community. His ministry focuses on lifting up the name of Jesus and sharing His goodness with all who enter our doors.
